01. I have white buildup on my thermos or kettle etc. kitchen appliance, what is it?
This is called limescale. A large amount of scale indicates that the water quality is relatively hard. Limescale not only affects hot drinks, but even the normal development of the taste and aroma of food. When utensils are covered with limescale, they impair their functional use and even shorten their service life. Our jug reduces water hardness (during the life of the filter).
02. There are fine particles in the filtered water, what are they?
Fine particles are part of the filter material. Due to friction and other reasons during long-distance transportation, fine particles may leak into the filtered water. These particles will not cause negative effects on health. In order to remove these fine particles, please follow our operation manual, put the filter element in water before installing a new filter element, shake the filter element back and forth 10 to 12 times vigorously, repeat the above action if necessary, and filter it twice. It can be used normally.
03. Before using this water filter jug, what preparations should be made for the filter element?
- Pour water into a jug or bowl.
- Immerse the filter element (after tearing off the package) in water, shake it left and right for 1 minute, let the water flow into the filter element and discharge all air bubbles.
- Insert the filter element into the funnel and snap it firmly into place.
